Installing (the apps are notarization-free, so your OS will ask once)

  1. macOS 14 and earlier: right-click the app → Open → Open.
  2. macOS 15+: double-click once (it will be blocked), then System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. Always works: xattr -d com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Ember Live.app"
  3. System audio needs the Screen Recording permission — grant it and relaunch the app.
  4. Windows: if SmartScreen appears, click More info → Run anyway.
